Was mache ich bei mymary?
Ich bin promovierter Arzt und habe schon seit dem Studium großes Interesse an Startups und Entwicklung neuer Geschäftsmodelle. Als Jenny auf mich mit der Idee einer online Plattform für Vermittlung vertrauenswürdiger Babysitter zukam, war ich sofort dabei. Viele meiner besten Freunde haben bereits Kinder und ich kenne deren große Sorgen, ihre kleinen jemandem anzuvertrauen – das ist in Zeiten des Internets auch nicht so einfach. Also haben wir mymary gebaut, die Plattform, die nur die besten Babysitter vermittelt. Das Gute: wir haben schon alle persönlich kennen gelernt.

What do I do at mymary?
At mymary I take care of the business model’s development. Two years ago when Jenny and I had the idea for mymary, we were at the very beginning. Since then we have met over 200 babysitters in person and built mymary. I am the first contact person for everyone at mymary and take care of the company’s coordination.
What else is there to say about me?
I have a doctor’s degree and since my academic studies I am very interested in startups and the development of new business models. When Jenny approached me with the idea of an online platform to connect trustworthy babysitters with parents I was in immediately. A lot of my best friends already have kids of their own and I know their worries when entrusting their little ones to someone – in the times of the world wide web it is not that easy. That’s why we built mymary, a platform that only places the best babysitters. The good part: We have already gotten to know all of them!
